My dog has no teeth now, what can i give him?

He's a true picky, he won't eat unless it tastes nice or meaty. I've been giving him canned wet dog food but i think it's not really good 4 his digestive system(though he adores them). What can i give him that is soft, delicious and super healthy?

try MERRICK dry. but you add water and turn it into a gravy.
Reply:my dogs like scrambled eggs
Reply:Believe it or not most wet dog foods are fine enough not to much chewing is really required, I would just do a nice job of mincing or beating the food before feeding it to your dog. There are some wet foods dogs find favorable that are in fact appear more of a solid mass that looks like they blended some meat and other ingredients and if this is broken up the dog can simply lap it up and there are a variety of flavors. I'd just avoid chunky foods so that you can as you say make sure they are correctly digesting the food.
Reply:what is the breed?
Reply:eggs with some cheese on them , or rice they'll love it at least my dog's sure do
Reply:boiled chicken which u can tear up with rice with some butter

scrambled eggs are good

U can put some boilled green beans in with the rice so he will get some veggies

u can make a doggy meatloaf but dont use onion or garlic

Good luck I hope this helps!!
Reply:Wet dog food is as healthy as dry foods.

You can even mix a little warm water into it when you give it to him to make if even softer and easier to chew.

I'd stick with a "dog food". It's going to have all the nutrients that he needs.

When in doubt - check with your vet.
Reply:If he is use to canned food I would not chage him. Give him what ever satisfies him.
Reply:Try the natural brands like Wellness or Innova Evo.
Reply:Canned food is fine;it's formulated to have everything the dog needs. You can also feed him meat baby food, cereal, scrambled eggs, cooked sweet potatoes and carrots ( mashed), well cooked rice and ground beef, chicken or turkey. you could even feed him a small kibble that's been moistened with warm water. Oh,and you could make him a meatloaf with ground meat, oatmeal, eggs, and the veggies, all combined. He would love it.
