Do you know what I can clean my dog's teeth with. Natural products I may already have at home.?

the baking soda and a stiff toothbrush will work great if you have the yellow build up off of the teeth....that is where the odor comes from and it needs to be chipped off which is why it is best to have your vet office do the first cleaning then you can maintain at home.

Just use a wet washcloth and wipe them off.
Reply:use bakeing soda.
Reply:you should get a soft toothbrush and just brush your dogs teeths with just some warm water.
Reply:mix baking soda with water and a very small splash of bleach make it in a paste ans brush away
Reply:Use a cloth with water. Don't use human toothpaste - it has fluoride in it and dogs don't understand that they aren't supposed to swallow it.
Reply:cotton ball and perxiode
Reply:You can use a very tiny amount of human toothpaste...about the same amount you use for small children(a squirt about the size of a pea), maybe even less and just use a toothbrush and be gentle.
Reply:Baking soda helps to scrub the tooth as well as to deodorize their mouth.
Reply:Bones from the butcher are a wonderful way to help clean dogs teeth. Of coarse you said at home, so I'll let you use your imagination. You need large bones so perhaps the neighbor who keeps parking his over-sized SUV in your space?? lol
Reply:Here is a membership site that covers this and many more dog related issues. It's the best I could come up with - it does require a membership. 6th article down on the list when you arrive.
