i use denta stix for my dogs,its from the pedigree brand,its a chewable stick that will really help control tartar build up and also prevent bad breath,toothpaste and toothbrush don't really work well in most dogs they get irritated while brushing their teeth and end up chewing the head of the brush.also try chewable sticks from the vet store or pet store chewing make their teeth stronger and makes them busy in chewing.
